- I am an Aussie wife, mum, and granny. I've been married to my first husband for over 40 years so far, and it's a fun journey for both of us. We have two beautiful daughters, three fantastic grandkids, (and I have to remember...) a son-in-law as well. ;o) I have been painting wooden things since about 1994, and love it. These alpha letters are my latest creation/obsession, after having painted old suitcases, toyboxes, furniture, wooden spoons, (you get the general idea). Hubby says, "If it stands still she will paint it!". I love to paint.....wish I could draw better.....(my goal is to be as good an artist as my grandson is), and hope my hands continue to work well enough so that I can continue doing what I love.
